Remember me?!

Yes, it has been a while since my last update. As I work on updating my website, my blog, and my life, I am very excited to now be living and working in upstate NY. The arts community it thriving and people are flocking to the area! Keep a lookout for the film Labor Day  with Kate Winslet and Josh Brolin, directed by Jason Reitman, where I play an oblivious checkout girl. I am also proud to be making contacts and working with local companies such as Playwrights in Progress, WAM, the HRC Showcase Company, and Park Playhouse, among others. I am so grateful for this new life, with new opportunities and possibilities. Stay tuned for more!

Mr. Sensitivity at NYC International Fringe Festival

As part of the NYC International Fringe Festival this summer, Kate will be performing in Mr. Sensitivity by Byron Nilsson. It's a hilarious play about marriage, sex, and all the related taboos! It will perform at the SoHo Playhouse in August, and you can check out info, pictures, and more at www.mr-sensitivity.com. Or for more about the Fringe Festival, go to www.fringenyc.org.

"Letters..." is back!

Back by popular demand, Kate will be touring "Letters from a Window in the Sky" to the elementary schools of Albany's Capital Region (as part of the NYS Theatre Institute's 2008-2009 season). It's the same wonderfully energetic story of self-discovery, exploring the adventures of Pippi Longstocking and her creator, Astrid Lindgren. Kate begins performing on May 26th, travelling to schools in Albany, Troy, Bethlehem, and Rensselaer, and finishing at the Saratoga Arts Festival on June 14th. Use Kate's link to the NYSTI website to find out about scheduling and ticket info!
